Was clean and decently maintained. For the area, it was great as there aren’t a lot of options there. Would rent it again when we have another large group.

Curtis's places was a great place to have as a homebase while visiting the scenic landscapes around Hanksville. The house is bigger than I expected and had plenty of room for all of us staying. Couldn't have asked for more.

My kids and I loved it here. I actually ended up booking an extra night and taking an extra vacation day off work. The highlight for us was the proximity to Goblin Valley, Little Wild Horse Canyon, and the area around the Mars Research Station. Great location for my son to play with his RC rock crawler. The house was just what we needed for our stay. The highlight were the very friendly dogs and cats that would run across the path from the neighbors house to greet us every time we came home. They were so cute. My kids and I loved playing with them. The house was clean and Curtis was amazing and very responsive. He went out of his way to be flexible with my specific check in and check out needs. The air conditioner was a bit loud but it sure got the job done in that 100 degree heat.

This home is very private but easy to find right off the main road. It has every comfort you want during a desert adventure: beds are very comfortable, ac is amazing, lots of seating, 2 full bathrooms, and fully stocked kitchen. Host is so welcoming and is local so very responsive. There is a huge parking area so your boats, bikes, and campers have room. It's truly the best stay in town (trust me, I've tried them all).

The place is a gr8 location in Hanksville. You may plan a visit to the Cathedral Valley, and Capital Reef National park from here. Especially close to the Mars Research Desert station, Factory butte, Long Dong Silver. Very comfortable beds, good laundry and kitchen equipments. Felt right at home. Highly recommended stay in Hanksville.

Had a great stay! Just as described and great location. Check in and directions were good. Very basic but had everything we needed and we would stay there again if we are ever back. My kiddos (well 20/22) loved the neighborhood cats as well as the coffee shop down the road.

Wonderful home in Hanksville! Curtis is a fantastic host, very accommodating of our university robotics team while we competed in the Hanksville area. The house is well stocked with the essentials, and the Bull Mountain Market is right next door for anything we missed. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

This was our second time staying here, so obviously we liked it or we would not have returned.
It is clean and comfortable and is a great place for a group to stay before and adventures in the local area.
We will book again should we need a place to stay in Hanksville in the future.

Trista's Farmhouse was great for the 4 of us. Could have accommodated 4 couples. Some of the furnishings are dated or worn, but it is clean and comfortable. We loved having the room. We went to the Market just in front and bought groceries and cooked dinner, which was great. Used the laundry room, again, great.

We stayed here as stop 1 on a roadtrip from provo to Phoenix, the surrounding area was beautiful and the house was perfectly situated within walking distance of the restaurants in town
Would recommend to anyone who needs a stop in or around Hanksville!
