The place is a gr8 location in Hanksville. You may plan a visit to the Cathedral Valley, and Capital Reef National park from here. Especially close to the Mars Research Desert station, Factory butte, Long Dong Silver. Very comfortable beds, good laundry and kitchen equipments. Felt right at home. Highly recommended stay in Hanksville.

Had a great stay! Just as described and great location. Check in and directions were good. Very basic but had everything we needed and we would stay there again if we are ever back. My kiddos (well 20/22) loved the neighborhood cats as well as the coffee shop down the road.

This was a great spot to rest between Arches/Canyonlands and Capitol Reef. We were just traveling with a couple but there is plenty of room for a family! Everything was very clean and welcoming. Curtis sent us great instructions and it was easy to get in. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed one night during our whirlwind spring break visit to the Mighty 5 national parks, after spending time at Capitol Reef. “Granny’s Nook” had what we needed to be comfortable. Our 7th person slept comfortably on the couch thanks to the extra blankets and pillows provided. We appreciate having plenty of shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, and dish detergent available. The market down the road had the food we needed to make a good breakfast, and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Stan’s Burgers and Shakes about 5 minutes away.

Perfect place to explore Hanksville, Capitol Reef and the surrounding areas! Right in downtown near the grocery store and nearby restaurants. Would absolutely book again on my next time in the area.

Granny’s place was nice and cozy, good location in beautiful hanksville. Would definitely recommend if you are either passing through or staying for some time l. Side note, outside the beautiful nature around quiet hanksville, I was pleasantly surprised at the great food options in town.

This place was excellent for my family’s trip to Hanksville. As a landscape photographer the locale features many of my favorite locations as well as a continuous source of inspiration and exploration. Usually I camp in the area but having my family with me I wanted a safe home base from where to explore from. Especially when I was out solo I wanted to ensure they were safe and secure. The unit is very spacious with a large open area and 3 bedrooms! I would stay again anytime

Granny’s nook did not disappoint. Just what we needed for a quick stop over on our road trip. Cozy couch and beds, what more can you ask for! The little neighbor dog that was out, was SO cute! That little furball was the highlight the stay. :)
